The Noble and Most Ancient House of Nott is a Pure-Blood Wizarding Family and an influential and wealthy member of the Sacred Fifty-Four dating far back to the early 16th century, they are one of England’s most prominent and oldest families. They were known to be very largely preoccupied with matters of blood purity status, and rumours crop up now and then of Dark activities within the family. Recently, the Nott family have abandoned their Pure-Blood Supremacist beliefs and have since pledged service and allegiance to the Dark Lord, Hadrian Peverell as well as help finding the New Order. Their family motto is “Lux Et Tenebrae”.
